Nanzuka
Underground
Tokyo, Japan
Visionary Shinji Nanzuka launched NANZUKA in Tokyo in 2005. Known for collaborating with different sectors, such as fashion, music, and design, in order to broaden the current art context and break beyond the "fine art" boundary, it is nowadays one of the leading Contemporary Art galleries.
The gallery's original goal was to help rediscover postwar Japanese artists, such as pop artist Keiichi Tanaami, who made the psychedelic anti-war 'No More War' poster, and Sorayama, with his worldwide known feminine robots in strange and sensual postures. Today the gallery also collaborates with number one artists around the globe that will be present in the fair.
