Magda Kirk (Magdalena Kirklewska) was born in 1990 in Poland. She graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Poland in 2015. Her painting revolves around the theme of body image. She creates subjective impressions of ordinary, contemporary men who struggle with their identity, self-esteem, and self-expression. They watch their bodies in the mirror, and what they see are their ideas about themselves, distorted under the influence of cultural expectations.
