About the gallery
The gallery was opened in 1985 by Luis Adelantado, and right from the start focussed on promoting and disseminating contemporary artwork. Over the years the gallery has represented and exhibited work by a wide spectrum of national and international artists, with the following exhibits by consolidated and emerging artists closing a cross-generational list: Irma Álvarez-Laviada, Carmen Calvo, Ting-Ting Cheng, José Luis Cremades, Javi Cruz, Marius Engh, Folkert de Jong, Julie C. Fortier, Fuentesal & Arenillas, , Rubén Guerrero, Lamarche-Ovize, Álex Marco, Priscilla Monge, Javier Palacios, José Miguel Pereñíguez, Jorge Peris, M Reme Silvestre, Yann Sérandour, Cachito Vallés, Darío Villalba.
Currently managed by Olga Adelantado, the gallery makes the most of all the possibilities of the layout of this historical five-storey building. Owing to its dimensions the exhibition and dialogue areas can be extended in order to further build on a dynamic, eclectic programme focussing on establishing new relationships between artists, disciplines and other players in the sector.
The desire to build bridges and establish new connections has culminated through the opening of a new gallery in Mexico City, in addition to our participation at international art fairs such as Arco Madrid, Artissima, Art Brussels, ArtBo, Fiac, Frieze New York and ZonaMaco, which complete the programme of a project which right from the beginning set out to redefine limits.
