Gathering launched in October 2022 with an inaugural exhibition by Turner Prize-winning artist Tai Shani. Located in Soho, London, the 3,000 square foot two-level space has been designed by London-based architects Matheson Whiteley. Gathering brings forward a diverse programme, focusing on immersive installations and radical practices by a roster of international artists. Our ambition is to provide a commercial platform to artists whose practices are more prevalent in institutional realms. A generation of emerging voices will exhibit alongside established artists across our two exhibition spaces, situated in the heart of London. Gathering is a member of the Gallery Climate Coalition and is working collaboratively with Embode and The Anti-Slavery Collective, taking immediate action where possible and making a pledge of support to enact long-term change.
