Since 2011 Cob has been dedicated to supporting emerging and predominantly female artists, remaining committed to presenting distinctive new voices working in traditional media. With a strong curatorial backbone, the gallery’s hybrid model sustains a stable of ten artists, whilst showcasing individual projects from a broader community. Cob has built a strong reputation for its debut solo exhibition programme, featuring artists including Shadi Al-Atallah (2018) Diane Dal-Pra (2020) and Olivia Sterling (2021). Forthcoming, Cob presents the London debuts for British photographer Jack Davison, British Ghanaian artist Tanoa Sasraku, Spanish artist Chechu Álava and US artist Katelyn Eichwald. In 2022, Cob launches a full-time residency, hosting four artists annually in bespoke on-site studios and culminating in curated exhibitions forming a central thread in the gallery programme.
