Lorenzetti’s work centers around the artist himself. Often are the paintings connected to memoreis or specific events. Hereby are the figures initialy pertained to some sort of familiarity, not knowing the works are branching into representing something larger. Representing certain societal stand-ins of forces, of power, or influence. In an attempt to assign meaning to his own life, the arsists uses narrative as a structure to paint on top of and in regard of these societal structures that enable the artist to feel uninhibited with his own mark-marking.
