Nimyu was born in China, obtained a BFA from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and later graduated from the New York Academy of Art. Currently based in Tokyo, Nimyu works across various media, including painting, video, and installation, in her quest to comprehensively capture the invisible array of information that shapes society. Vibrant and graceful unconventional life forms, plants, and foodstuffs often appear in Nimyu's works, sparking curiosity about their essence and the artist's intended message. This very curiosity mirrors our unconscious quest to understand and process the daily information we encounter, making it a trick concealed within Nimyu's artistry.
